Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a designated area that protects smokers from extreme weather. Each shelter includes an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall, creating a comfortable sitting area, and they can double as bus stops. The framing system is constructed to industrial-grade standards for durability against outdoor conditions. These shelters feature a clear anodized aluminum finish with a flat roof made from 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum that are break resistant, while the glass panels consist of 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and packaged for low-cost shipping, with all models being ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It is important to note that due to Florida building codes, the wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida without additional engineering services. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an extra cost if required.
