Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking areas in office buildings, campus universities, and similar environments, providing a designated space while protecting users from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can double as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. Constructed to withstand years of outdoor use, the framing system is made with industrial-grade materials and features a clear anodized aluminum finish. The roof is constructed from 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum that are break resistant, while the glass panels are 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for cost-effective shipping. All models are ADA compliant, with options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are also available at an additional cost if needed.
