Flat roof smoking shelters are ideal for outdoor smoking areas in office buildings and campus universities, providing protection from extreme weather conditions. The shelters include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating, making them suitable for use as bus stops. Constructed with industrial-grade standards, the framing system is designed for durability and long-term outdoor use. The shelters feature a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish, with a flat roof made of 1/4" panels laminated with break-resistant aluminum, and clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass panels. They are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for cost-effective shipping, ensuring all models comply with ADA regulations. Various options are available, including three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters are not eligible for sale in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are also available for an extra fee if needed.
