Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in locations such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated area while protecting users from extreme weather conditions. These units can also function as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. Constructed with a robust framing system built to industrial-grade standards, these shelters are made from dark bronze anodized aluminum and feature a flat roof constructed of 1/4" panels laminated with break-resistant aluminum. The glass panels consist of 1/4" thick clear tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated for easy assembly, the outdoor shelters are crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA standards. Available configurations include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with openings on the left and right fronts (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and certain shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters being sold in Florida will necessitate additional engineering services for compliance, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations available at an extra cost if required.
