Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in settings such as office buildings and campus universities, offering designated smoking areas while protecting users from extreme weather. These shelters feature an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort and can also serve as convenient bus stops. Constructed to industrial-grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use. The shelters are finished with clear anodized aluminum, and the flat roof is composed of 1/4" panels laminated with break-resistant aluminum, while the glass panels are made from 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and shipped at low cost, all models are ADA compliant. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). In Florida, due to specific building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, which may restrict the sale of some shelters; those sold in Florida will necessitate additional engineering services, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations available for compliance at an additional cost.
