Product Details
This elastomer is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and propylene, known as AFLAS®, which exhibits unique resistance to petroleum products, steam, phosphate esters, and brake fluids. It offers media compatibility properties similar to those of ethylene propylene and fluorocarbon, with fair resistance to brake fluids and phosphate esters, alongside good resistance to petroleum oils. The cure system is peroxide-cured, with standard AFLAS® compounds utilizing this method. The elastomer has a standard low temperature of -10°C (-14°F) and a standard high temperature of 220°C (428°F).
