The Armored Textiles N52H175HDR50N Jafline HD double jacket fire hose measures 1-3/4" x 50 ft and is rated for 400 PSI, featuring a vibrant red color. This fire attack hose is designed with a superior double jacket made from virgin spun polyester yarn, making it highly durable, lightweight, and flexible compared to cotton-synthetic hoses, thereby allowing for more efficient storage. The outer jacket is thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound, providing robust resistance against chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with the compound heat set at 275°F. It complies with the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition, and meets the potable water standard NSF 61, ensuring the inclusion of materials approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube unaffected by ozone, featuring a thickness of .015 to .018 for the smaller hose sizes and .022" to .025 for the 2-1/2" size, with a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale and a tensile strength of no less than 3000 PSI. The adhesion between the liner and the inner jacket is tested to ensure a separation rate of no greater than 1" per minute under a weight of 15 pounds.
