The Armored Textiles N52H15HDB50N JaFline HD double jacket fire hose measures 1-1/2" x 50 ft and has a working pressure of 400 PSI, featuring a blue color. This fire attack hose is constructed with a superior double jacket and is polyurethane-lined, offering high durability and lightweight benefits. It conforms to the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition, and its material is compliant with NSF 61 for potable water standards, approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. The jacket construction utilizes virgin spun polyester yarn for both the outer and inner jackets, which are impregnated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, and is heat set at 275°F. The hose liner is a single-ply extruded tube that is ozone-unaffected, smooth, and free of imperfections, with no reclaimed material used. Liner thickness ranges from .015 to .018 inches for sizes 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4", while 2-1/2" hoses have a thickness of .022" to .025". The liner also has a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale and a minimum tensile strength of 3000 PSI with an elongation of at least 400%. The adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket ensures minimal separation, with a rate not exceeding 1 inch per minute over ten minutes under a weight of 15 pounds. Additionally, the lining undergoes accelerated aging tests at 158°F ± 3.6°F, following ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
