The Armored Textiles N51H15LNR50N JaFline double jacket fire hose is a durable and lightweight fire attack hose, measuring 1-1/2" in diameter and 50 ft in length, with a working pressure of 400 psi, and is available in red. This hose meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition, and complies with the potable water standard NSF 61, containing only materials approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. Its jacket construction features virgin spun polyester yarn for both the outer and inner jackets, providing a lighter weight and greater flexibility compared to cotton-synthetic hoses, allowing for more efficient storage. The outer jacket is impregnated with a polymer compound for superior resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, which is heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that is ozone unaffected and free of imperfections, with a thickness of .015 to .018 for 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" sizes, and .022" to .025 for the 2-1/2" hose. The Shore hardness is 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale, and the tensile strength of the liner exceeds 3000 psi with a minimum elongation of 400%. The adhesion between the liner and jacket is designed to minimize separation, with a rate not exceeding 1" per minute under a 15-pound load. Additionally, lining specimens undergo accelerated aging tests under ASTM D 573 and ASTM D 4112 standards, subjected to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours.
