The Armored Textiles N50H2RR100N JAFRIB standard nitrile fire hose measures 2 inches in diameter and 100 feet in length, with a pressure rating of 300 PSI and a striking red color. This fire hose is constructed from 100% high tenacity synthetic yarn that is circular woven and completely encased in a tough, highly ozone-resistant synthetic nitrile rubber, formed through a single through-the-weave extrusion process, resulting in a homogenous construction that does not utilize any glues or adhesives. The lining boasts a tensile strength of no less than 1750 PSI and an ultimate elongation of liner and cover of not less than 500%, with permanent elongation capped at 25%. Adhesion between the liner and inside jacket is tested to ensure that separation does not exceed 1 inch per minute over ten minutes under a weight of 16 pounds. The hose withstands accelerated aging, meeting ASTM D 573 criteria, showing tensile and elongation properties at least 75% of their initial values after exposure to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours. Additionally, the hose can operate in temperatures as low as -35°F, demonstrating no visible damage after undergoing a cold bend test at that temperature for 24 hours.
