The Armored Textiles N56H2FX50N JAFX4 is a 4 ply fire hose measuring 2" x 50 ft with a maximum pressure rating of 330 psi, available in a yellow color. This unique fire hose is constructed from highly durable nitrile rubber, specifically designed for supply and attack operations where resistance to petroleum, chemicals, and abrasion is essential. The JAFX4 hose exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition. Its jacket is manufactured using a four-layer co-extrusion process, creating a one-piece extruded hose with a synthetic RLH cover made from 100% high tenacity synthetic yarn that is circular woven and locked with tough synthetic nitrile rubber, ensuring no glues or adhesives are used in its composition. The co-extruded RLH cover material provides superior performance characteristics, including enhanced abrasion, heat, chemical, and age/ozone resistance. The lining properties demonstrate a tensile strength of no less than 2500 PSI, with an ultimate elongation of both liner and cover exceeding 500%. The adhesion between the liner and inside jacket is robust enough that the rate of separation of a 1.5” wide strip cut transversely does not exceed 1” per minute over ten minutes under a weight of 12 pounds. The accelerated aging test indicates that lining specimens exposed to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours, conditioned per ASTM D 573, will maintain at least 75% of their initial tensile and elongation properties when tested against ASTM D4112 standards. The hose is backed by a warranty from ATI that covers both the hose and couplings against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years, with defective hoses either repaired or replaced upon evaluation.
