The Armored Textiles N52H175HDW50N Jafline HD double jacket fire hose measures 1-3/4" x 50 ft and can withstand pressures of up to 400 PSI, featuring a white exterior. This hose is constructed with a superior double jacket that is polyurethane-lined, providing high durability while remaining lightweight, making it ideal for fire attack applications. It meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard from the 2013 edition, as well as the potable water standard NSF 61, ensuring that the materials comply with health effects for drinking water systems. The jacket is crafted from virgin spun polyester yarn, with all-synthetic fibers ensuring reduced weight and enhanced flexibility compared to cotton-synthetic hoses. The outer jacket is impregnated with a polymer compound that offers excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, subjected to a heat setting of 275°F. The lining consists of a single-ply extruded thermoplastic tube that remains unaffected by ozone and is free from imperfections, with a thickness ranging from .015 to .018 inches for sizes 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4", and .022" to .025" for the 2-1/2" hose. It has a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale, with a tensile strength exceeding 3000 PSI and a minimum elongation of 400%. The adhesion between the liner and the inner jacket is designed to minimize separation, not exceeding 1" per minute under a 15-pound weight over ten minutes. Accelerated aging tests are conducted under ASTM D 573 and ASTM D 4112 standards, with lining specimens exposed to conditions of 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours.
