The Armored Textiles N52H2HDW50N JaFline HD double jacket fire hose measures 2" x 50 ft and features a working pressure of 400 PSI. This lightweight and highly durable fire attack hose is constructed with a superior double jacket that is polyurethane-lined, meeting or exceeding the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition. It is compliant with the potable water standard NSF 61, ensuring that the materials are approved for use in drinking water systems. The jacket is made from virgin spun polyester yarn, making it much lighter and more flexible than traditional cotton-synthetic hoses. The outer jacket is impregnated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with a heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that is unaffected by ozone, with a thickness of .022" to .025" for the 2-1/2" hose, and it boasts a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale. The tensile strength of the liner exceeds 3000 PSI, while the minimum elongation is 400%. The adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket allows a separation rate of no greater than 1" per minute under a weight of 15 pounds over a ten-minute duration. Additionally, the lining specimens can withstand accelerated aging conditions of 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours, adhering to ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
