The Armored Textiles N52H15HDT100N Jafline HD double jacket fire hose, measuring 1-1/2" x 100 ft and rated for 400 psi, features a tan color and is designed for superior durability and lightweight performance in fire attack scenarios. This hose meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard from the 2013 edition and complies with the NSF 61 potable water standard, ensuring its components are approved for health effects in drinking water systems. Its jacket construction consists of virgin spun polyester yarn, providing flexibility and lighter weight than cotton-synthetic hoses, allowing for more compact storage. The outer jacket is treated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance against chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with the compound heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is crafted as a single-ply extruded tube resistant to ozone and is free from defects, with a liner thickness ranging from .015" to .018" for 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" hoses, and .022" to .025" for 2-1/2" hoses. Its Shore hardness is set at 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale, while the tensile strength is not less than 3000 psi, with elongation of at least 400%. The adhesion between the liner and inner jacket is robust, ensuring a separation rate of less than 1" per 10 minutes under a 15-pound weight. Additionally, the hose has undergone accelerated aging tests, meeting ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standards after being exposed to temperatures of 158°F ± 3.6° for 96 hours.
