The Armored Textiles N52H15HDW50N Jafline HD double jacket fire hose measures 1-1/2" x 50 ft and operates at a pressure of 400 PSI, featuring a white color. This superior double jacket fire attack hose is designed for durability, lightweight use, and is polyurethane-lined. It meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition, and complies with the potable water standard NSF 61, signifying that the materials used are acceptable for health effects in drinking water systems. The jacket is made from virgin spun polyester yarn, making it lighter and more flexible than traditional cotton-synthetic hoses, allowing for a more compact storage solution. The outer jacket is treated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that remains unaffected by ozone, with a smooth finish free of imperfections and no reclaimed materials utilized. The liner thickness ranges from .015 to .018 for 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" hoses, while it is .022" to .025 for the 2-1/2" hose. The liner exhibits a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale, a tensile strength of no less than 3000 PSI, and a minimum elongation of 400%. Adhesion between the liner and inside jacket is such that a 1.5" wide strip cut transversely separates at a rate of no more than 1" per minute under a 15-pound weight over a ten-minute duration. Additionally, lining specimens can withstand accelerated aging when exposed to 158° ± 3.6° for 96 hours, in accordance with ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
