The Armored Textiles N50H25RR100N JAFRIB standard nitrile fire hose measures 2-1/2" x 100 ft and has a pressure rating of 300 psi, featuring a red color. This superior nitrile rubber hose is specifically designed for supply and attack operations, providing essential resistance to petroleum, chemicals, and abrasion. It meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition. Constructed from 100% high tenacity synthetic yarn, the jacket is circular woven and fully protected by durable, highly ozone-resistant synthetic nitrile rubber, utilizing a single through-the-weave extrusion process to create a homogenous construction without adhesives. The hose's lining properties include a tensile strength of at least 1750 PSI, an ultimate elongation of not less than 500%, and a permanent elongation not exceeding 25%. The adhesion between the liner and inside jacket is such that a 1.5" wide strip cut transversely shows a separation rate of no more than 1" per minute over ten minutes under a 16-pound weight. For accelerated aging, lining specimens exposed to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours are conditioned according to ASTM D 573 and tested per ASTM D4112, with tensile and elongation properties required to retain at least 75% of their initial values. The hose is capable of functioning at temperatures as low as -35°F, with no visible damage to the jacket or lining after undergoing a cold bend test at this temperature for 24 hours, followed by a rapid bend of 180 degrees.
