The Armored Textiles N51G15LNW50N Jafline Double Jacket Fire Hose measures 1-1/2" x 50 ft and operates at a pressure of 400 psi. This highly durable and lightweight fire attack hose is constructed with a superior double jacket and a polyurethane lining, meeting or exceeding the NFPA 1961 Fire Hose Standard, 2013 edition. It also complies with the Potable Water Standard NSF 61, ensuring that the materials are approved for drinking water systems. The jacket is made from virgin spun polyester yarn, resulting in a hose that is lighter and more flexible than cotton-synthetic variants, allowing for efficient storage. The outer jacket is treated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube, unaffected by ozone, with a thickness of .015 to .018 for 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" hoses, and .022" to .025 for the 2-1/2" hose. It boasts a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale, a tensile strength of no less than 3000 psi, and a minimum elongation of 400%. The adhesion between the liner and internal jacket guarantees that the rate of separation of a 1.5" wide strip does not exceed 1" per minute over ten minutes under a 15-pound weight. Additionally, lining specimens exposed to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours are conditioned to ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
