The Armored Textiles N51H15LNB50N Jafline double jacket fire hose measures 1-1/2" in diameter and 50 ft in length, with a working pressure of 400 PSI and a blue color. This highly durable and lightweight fire attack hose features a superior double jacket with a polyurethane lining, and it meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard (2013 edition) as well as the potable water standard NSF 61. The jacket is constructed from virgin spun polyester yarn, and the all-synthetic fiber composition offers reduced weight and enhanced flexibility compared to cotton-synthetic hoses, allowing for more efficient storage. The outer jacket is treated with a polymer compound for excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with the compound heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that is unaffected by ozone, free of pits or imperfections, with a thickness of .015 to .018 inches for 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" hoses and .022" to .025" for 2-1/2" hoses. The liner exhibits a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale and has a tensile strength of no less than 3000 PSI with a minimum elongation of 400%. The adhesion between the liner and the inner jacket ensures that the rate of separation for a 1.5" wide strip is not greater than 1" per minute over ten minutes under a weight of 15 pounds. Additionally, the hose undergoes accelerated aging tests, with lining specimens exposed to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours in compliance with ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
