Armored Textiles N51H175LNR50N Jafline double jacket fire hose measures 1-3/4" in diameter and 50 ft in length, with a pressure rating of 400 psi and is colored red. The Jafline hose is constructed from virgin spun polyester yarn for both the outer and inner jackets, resulting in a highly durable and lightweight design that meets or exceeds NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition, and adheres to potable water standard NSF 61. The outer jacket is coated with a polymer compound that provides exceptional resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube, free of pits or imperfections, with a smooth finish and a thickness of .015 to .018 for diameters 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4", or .022" to .025 for 2-1/2" hoses. The liner exhibits a shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale and a tensile strength of no less than 3000 psi, achieving a minimum elongation of 400%. Additionally, the adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket is designed to prevent more than 1" of separation per minute over a ten-minute period under a weight of 15 pounds. Lining specimens exposed to 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours will be tested in accordance with ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standards.
