The Armored Textiles N51H25LNW50N JaFLINE double jacket fire hose measures 2-1/2" x 50 ft and is rated for 400 PSI. This highly durable and lightweight fire attack hose is constructed with a superior double jacket and polyurethane lining, meeting or exceeding the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition. It is certified for potable water under NSF 61, ensuring its suitability for contained drinking water systems. The outer and inner jackets are made from virgin spun polyester yarn, making the hose significantly lighter and more flexible compared to cotton-synthetic alternatives. This allows for efficient storage. The outer jacket is impregnated with a polymer compound for enhanced chemical, abrasion, and UV resistance, while being heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that is ozone-resistant, with a smooth finish free from imperfections and no reclaimed materials. The liner thickness ranges from .015 to .018 inches for smaller hose sizes and .022" to .025" for the 2-1/2" hose, with a Shore hardness of 40 ± 5 durometer on the "D" scale. The tensile strength is no less than 3000 PSI, with minimum elongation of 400%. Adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket is robust, with a separation rate not exceeding 1" per minute under a 15-pound weight. Lining specimens can endure accelerated aging at 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours, complying with ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standard test methods.
