The Armored Textiles N52H15HDB100N Jafline HD double jacket fire hose is designed for fire attack with dimensions of 1-1/2" x 100 ft and a pressure rating of 400 PSI, featuring a blue color. This hose is constructed with a superior double jacket that is polyurethane-lined, making it highly durable and lightweight. It meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard from the 2013 edition and adheres to the potable water standard NSF 61, ensuring that the materials used are approved for drinking water systems. The jacket is made from virgin spun polyester yarn in both the warp and weft, allowing for easy storage due to its lightweight and flexible all-synthetic fiber composition, which provides resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and UV light thanks to a polymer compound that is heat set at 275°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube, unaffected by ozone and featuring a smooth surface free from imperfections, with a thickness ranging from .015 to .018 inches for sizes 1", 1-1/2" and 1-3/4", and .022" to .025" for the 2-1/2" hose. The Shore hardness is rated at 40 +/- 5 durometer on the "D" scale, with the tensile strength of the liner exceeding 3000 PSI and a minimum elongation of 400%. Adhesion tests indicate that the separation rate of a 1.5" wide strip cut transversely does not exceed 1" per minute under a 15-pound weight over ten minutes. Additionally, accelerated aging tests conform to ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112, with specimens exposed to 158°F +/- 3.6°F for 96 hours.
