The Armored Textiles N55H15F100N Forest Lite single jacket fire hose measures 1-1/2" x 100 ft and has a maximum operational pressure of 300 psi, designed specifically for wild land fire suppression. This lightweight hose features a polyurethane-lined construction that meets or exceeds the NFPA 1961 fire hose standard, 2013 edition. Available diameters include 1" and 1.5". The hose jacket is made of virgin spun high tenacity polyester, thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound for enhanced resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with the compound heat set at 250°F. The thermoplastic lining is a single-ply extruded tube that remains unaffected by ozone and maintains a smooth finish, free of pits or imperfections, without any reclaimed materials used. The liner displays a tensile strength of not less than 2000 psi and a maximum elongation of 10 percent. The adhesion between the liner and inner jacket is designed to restrict separation to no more than 1" per minute over ten minutes when subjected to a 12-pound weight. Lining specimens that undergo accelerated aging at 158°F ± 3.6°F for 96 hours will be conditioned according to ASTM D 573 and subsequently tested per ASTM D4112, ensuring that tensile and elongation properties do not fall below 75% of their initial values. The product comes with a warranty, securing both the hose and couplings against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years, with ATI committed to repairing or replacing any defective hose at no charge to the fire department.
