The Armored Textiles N55H15F50N Forest Lite single jacket fire hose measures 1-1/2" x 50 ft and has a pressure rating of 300 psi, designed specifically for wild land fire suppression. This lightweight hose features a virgin spun high tenacity polyester jacket that is thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound, providing excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet light, with the compound heat set at 250° F. The single-ply thermoplastic lining is impervious to ozone and is manufactured without reclaimed materials, ensuring a smooth finish free of imperfections, with a tensile strength of not less than 2000 psi and maximum elongation of 10 percent. The adhesion between the liner and the inside jacket ensures that the separation rate of a transversely cut 1.5" wide strip does not exceed 1" per minute over a ten-minute period under a 12-pound weight. For accelerated aging, specimens exposed to 158° F +/- 3.6° F for 96 hours will be tested in accordance with ASTM D 573 and ASTM D4112 standards, with tensile and elongation properties remaining above 75% of their initial values. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years, during which any defective hose found will be repaired or replaced by ATI at no cost to the fire department.
