3M™ 60440235384 Hookit™ Paper Sheet 236U measures 3" x 4" and features a P180 grit aluminum oxide, making it suitable for blending, finishing, and orbital sanding in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing. The product offers an aggressive cut and long life through its premium aluminum oxide sheet and durable edge, along with a convenient 3M™ Hookit™ attachment. Designed specifically for use with a 3 x 4 inch orbital sander, it utilizes strong C-weight paper backing, which resists tearing and edge wear during intense sanding operations. The resin-bonded construction provides heat resistance, enhancing longevity and cut performance. The open coat and load-resistant coating significantly improve dust management and cut-rate, allowing the sheet to maintain its cutting ability even when sanding softwoods and paints that typically clog surfaces. The open coat design ensures that abrasive grains are spaced to allow dust to escape, optimizing both cut-rate and sheet life.
