The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 10 inches by 10 yards and features aluminum silicate SFN grit, designed for consistent results in finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning across various materials, including metals, wood, and plastics, as well as in hard-to-reach areas. The roll can be easily cut to any desired length, ensuring surface conditioning consistency throughout its lifespan. Its load resistance maintains exposed abrasive particles for a consistent cut rate. This general-purpose pad allows for hand use for precise control, or it can be paired with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing, as well as utilized on inline or oscillating sanders for larger surfaces. The Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Rolls come with options for silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is sharp and suitable for low-pressure applications, aluminum oxide offers a high cut-rate and durability, and talc provides a mild abrasive option for achieving satin or high gloss finishes. These unique products integrate abrasives within a non-woven fiber matrix, producing an abrasive system that ensures consistent performance while minimizing clogging. They are suitable for applications such as blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding, with relevant industries including metalworking, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), as well as woodworking.
