BSC Preferred's™ Series dry environment duct fans are specifically engineered to manage clean dry air at temperatures up to a maximum of 180°F, making them ideal for applications such as fume removal in paint spray booths, smoke extraction from welding operations, or as supply air for air make-up systems. The kit includes a durable fan unit with optional specifications for a 3 phase 230/460V motor available in 1/3, 1/2, or 3/4 HP configurations. Key features encompass long-life maintenance-free sealed-for-life fan bearings, spark-resistant heavy-duty cast aluminum propellers, and an adjustable motor base that ensures optimal belt tension for extended belt life. The fans are equipped with rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys, and high-quality industrial-grade motors that can be customized in single or three-phase options, either totally enclosed or explosion proof. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, companion flanges, an inspection door, and horizontal support legs. The fans are also OSHA compliant, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
