BSC Preferred's™ series wet environment explosion proof duct fans are specifically engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for applications such as industrial parts washers to effectively remove excess water vapor. These fans are also suitable for use in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces up to 375°F when equipped with the high temperature package. Key features include sealed watertight bearings protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, standard propellers made of cast aluminum, with carbon steel and stainless steel options available. The construction is suitable for temperatures up to 225°F and can be upgraded to 375°F with the high temperature package, featuring a fabricated steel propeller standard for operations above 275°F. The fans can be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel to withstand harsh or contaminated environments. Additional features include an adjustable motor base for proper belt tension, rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys, and high-quality industrial-grade motors available in single or three-phase explosion proof configurations. Optional accessories consist of a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
