BSC Preferred's™ Series dry environment explosion proof duct fans are designed to handle clean dry air up to a maximum temperature of 180°F, making them ideal for applications such as the removal of fumes in paint spray booths, smoke elimination from welding operations, or as supply air for air make-up systems. These fans feature long-life maintenance-free sealed-for-life fan bearings, spark-resistant heavy-duty cast aluminum propellers, and an adjustable motor base that allows for proper belt tension to maximize belt life. The pulleys are constructed from rugged cast iron or turned steel, while the motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in both single and three-phase explosion-proof configurations. The kit includes optional accessories such as a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance components, companion flanges, an inspection door, and horizontal support legs.
