BSC Preferred's™ Series wet environment duct fans are engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers where excess water vapor removal is crucial. These fans are suitable for use in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces up to 375°F, especially with the addition of a high-temperature package. Key features include sealed watertight bearings, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, and standard propellers made of cast aluminum, with options for carbon steel and stainless steel. The standard construction is rated for temperatures up to 225°F and can reach 375°F with the high-temperature package, while fabricated steel propellers are standard for temperatures above 275°F. For harsh or contaminated environments, 304 or 316 stainless steel construction is available. The adjustable motor base ensures proper belt tension for extended belt life, and the pulleys are constructed from rugged cast iron or turned steel. The motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in single or three-phase totally enclosed configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, inspection doors, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
