BSC Preferred's™ Series Wet Environment Explosion Proof Duct Fans are specifically engineered for applications involving high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers to effectively remove excess water vapor. These fans can also be utilized in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces, withstanding temperatures up to 375°F when equipped with a high-temperature package. The kit includes various motor options, with three-phase models available in 230/460V at power ratings of 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 3, or 5 HP. Key features consist of bearings housed in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, while standard propellers are crafted from cast aluminum, with carbon steel and stainless steel options available. The construction is suitable for temperatures up to 225°F and can handle up to 375°F with the high-temperature package, with fabricated steel propellers standard above 275°F. The units can be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel for use in harsh environments, and they feature an adjustable motor base to ensure optimal belt tension. Pulleys are made from rugged cast iron or turned steel, and the motors are high-quality industrial-grade options available in single or three-phase, totally enclosed configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, companion flanges, inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
