BSC Preferred's™ series wet environment duct fans are specifically designed for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers to effectively remove excess water vapor. They can also be utilized in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces, capable of operating at temperatures up to 375°F with the addition of a high-temperature package. The fans feature bearings situated in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, while standard propellers are made of cast aluminum, with options for carbon steel and stainless steel. The standard construction is suitable for temperatures up to 225°F, and the fabricated steel propeller is standard for applications above 275°F. They are available in either 304 or 316 stainless steel construction to withstand harsh or contaminated environments. Additional attributes include an adjustable motor base for optimal belt tension, rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys, and high-quality industrial-grade motors available in single or three-phase configurations that are totally enclosed. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, an inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
