BSC Preferred's™ series wet environment duct fans are engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstream applications, making them ideal for use in industrial parts washers to manage excess water vapor. Additionally, these fans are suitable for dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces, rated up to 375°F when equipped with a high-temperature package. Key features include bearings housed in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, standard cast aluminum propellers with optional carbon steel and stainless steel variants, and standard construction suitable for temperatures up to 225°F, with a high-temperature package extending functionality to 375°F. For environments that are particularly harsh or contaminated, models are available in 304 or 316 stainless steel. The adjustable motor base ensures optimal belt tension for enhanced belt life, complemented by rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys and high-quality industrial-grade motors available in single or three-phase totally enclosed configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, support brackets in horizontal or vertical orientations, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, inspection doors, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, adjustable pitch motor pulleys, and continuously welded flanges.
