BSC Preferred's™ Series wet environment explosion proof duct fans are specifically designed for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for use on industrial parts washers for excess water vapor removal. These fans are also suitable for dry-off ovens, kilns, and low temperature furnaces up to 375°F when equipped with a high temperature package. Key features include bearings located in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, and standard propellers made of cast aluminum, with options for carbon steel and stainless steel. The construction is suitable for temperatures up to 225°F without the high temperature package and can support up to 375°F with it; a fabricated steel propeller is standard for temperatures above 275°F. The fans are available in both 304 or 316 stainless steel constructions, making them resilient in harsh or contaminated environments. An adjustable motor base ensures proper belt tension for maximum belt life, while rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys enhance durability. Motors are high-quality industrial-grade options available in single or three-phase explosion proof configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, an inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
