BSC Preferred's™ Series wet environment duct fans are engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers to efficiently remove excess water vapor. These fans are also suitable for applications in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces up to 375°F when equipped with the high-temperature package. The kit includes options such as a 3-phase 230/460V 3/4 HP motor. Key features comprise bearings housed in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, and standard propellers made from cast aluminum, with carbon steel and stainless steel options available. The construction is rated for temperatures up to 225°F and can handle 375°F with the high-temperature package, while a fabricated steel propeller is standard for temperatures above 275°F. The fan can be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel, ideal for harsh environments. An adjustable motor base ensures proper belt tension for maximum belt life, complemented by rugged cast iron or turned steel pulleys. Motors are of industrial quality, available in single or three-phase and totally enclosed. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, companion flanges, inspection doors, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges. These products are OSHA compliant, ensuring safety and reliability.
