BSC Preferred's™ Series Wet Environment Duct Fans are specifically designed for applications in high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers that require effective excess water vapor removal. These fans can also be utilized in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces, with a maximum temperature tolerance of 375°F when equipped with a high-temperature package. The fans feature bearings housed in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal. Standard propellers are made of cast aluminum, with options for carbon steel and stainless steel available. The construction is rated for standard use at 225°F and can be increased to 375°F with the appropriate high-temperature package. For operations above 275°F, a fabricated steel propeller is standard. The fans are also available in 304 or 316 stainless steel construction, suitable for harsh or contaminated environments. An adjustable motor base ensures optimal belt tension for maximum belt life, while the pulleys are crafted from rugged cast iron or turned steel. The motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in single or three-phase configurations with a totally enclosed design. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
