BSC Preferred's™ Series Wet Environment Explosion Proof Duct Fans are engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstream applications, making them ideal for industrial parts washers to effectively manage excess water vapor. These fans can be utilized in dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces up to 375°F with the optional high-temperature package. The kit includes a 3 phase 230/460V, 3/4 HP motor, offering a range of features such as bearings housed in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal. Standard propellers are made of cast aluminum, with options for carbon steel and stainless steel available. The construction is rated for temperatures up to 225°F and can reach 375°F with the appropriate package, while fabricated steel propellers are standard for applications exceeding 275°F. Fans can be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel for use in harsh environments. An adjustable motor base facilitates proper belt tension to enhance belt longevity, with pulleys made from rugged cast iron or turned steel. The high-quality industrial-grade motors are available as single or three-phase explosion-proof configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, companion flanges, an inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges. The product is OSHA compliant and adheres to relevant certifications and compliance standards.
