BSC Preferred's™ Series Explosion Proof Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are specifically designed for use in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, providing an economical solution for the removal of fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are ideal for air make-up systems where the motor must be located in the airstream, as well as in harsh, dry environments when equipped with mill and chemical duty motors and special coatings. Key features include standard propellers made from non-sparking cast aluminum and fan housings constructed from all welded, heavy gauge steel for enhanced durability. The motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in both single and three-phase explosion proof configurations. Additional options include companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA compliant inspection door, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
