BSC Preferred's™ Series Explosion Proof Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are engineered for operation in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, specifically designed for the economical removal of fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are suitable for various applications, including air make-up systems where the motor is required to be placed in the airstream and in harsh, dry environments when equipped with mill and chemical duty motors as well as special coatings. The fans feature non-sparking cast aluminum propellers and an all-welded heavy gauge steel housing construction. They are powered by high-quality industrial-grade motors, which can be configured as single or three-phase and are totally enclosed. Optional specifications include a 3 phase 230/460V, with motor sizes of 1/2 or 3/4 HP. Available optional accessories comprise companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA compliant inspection door, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
