BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are engineered for operation in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, effectively facilitating the removal of fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are suitable for applications such as air make-up systems, where the motor must be located within the airstream, and harsh, dry conditions when equipped with mill and chemical duty motors and special protective coatings. The standard configuration includes non-sparking cast aluminum propellers and a fan housing made from all-welded, heavy gauge steel. Motors offered in the design are high-quality industrial-grade units available in single or three-phase, totally enclosed options, with an optional specification of a 3 phase 230/460V motor at either 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP. Additional optional accessories include companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA compliant inspection door, and protective epoxy or urethane coatings.
