BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are designed for use in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, providing an efficient solution for the removal of fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are suitable for applications such as air make-up systems where the motor is located in the airstream, and they can be equipped with mill and chemical duty motors along with special coatings for harsh, dry environments. The kit includes standard propellers made from non-sparking cast aluminum and a fan housing constructed from all welded, heavy gauge steel. Motors are available in high-quality industrial grade options, with the choice of a single or three-phase totally enclosed motor, and can be specified as a 1/2 or 3/4 HP motor at 230/460V. Optional accessories comprise companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA compliant inspection door, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
