BSC Preferred's Series Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are engineered for operation in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, aiming to efficiently eliminate fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are suitable for air make-up systems where the motor needs to be positioned within the airstream, as well as in harsh, dry conditions when fitted with mill and chemical duty motors and special coatings. The fans include features such as standard non-sparking cast aluminum propellers and a fan housing made from all welded, heavy gauge steel construction. Motors are available in high-quality industrial grade options, including single or three-phase totally enclosed configurations, with optional specifications including a 3 phase 230/460V 1/2 or 3/4 HP motor. Optional accessories entail companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA compliant inspection door, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
