The CM® Pike Pole 10022 features a 1-1/2" x 12' anodized aluminum handle specifically designed as a blue pike pole, constructed from specially extruded 1-1/2" O.D. tubing with a wall diameter of 0.065 inches. The aluminum alloy undergoes a protective anodized finishing process, which extends its lifespan significantly compared to non-anodized aluminum, particularly in corrosive or wet environments. The aluminum design offers considerable weight savings over traditional ash poles, while its rugged construction ensures that the handle will not warp or break, remaining straight even with continued use. Each end is fitted with hardwood fittings secured through machine crimping. Furthermore, the exclusive Core Lok rubber seal from Dixie Industries provides a watertight barrier, enhancing buoyancy during extensive use in water. The pike hooks, made from a single piece of high carbon steel and drop forged, feature threaded shanks for easy attachment to the handle, while the pike points include twisted threads that resist removal unless turned halfway after being seated. Pike hooks are available in three styles: straight pike and hook, curved pike and hook, and straight pike only, with the latter two options available upon special order.
