The CM® Pike Pole 10040 features a 1-1/2" x 16' ash handle designed for effective timber handling in water, utilizing a turned handle that measures 1-1/2" in diameter at its thickest section, tapering to a knob at the end. Constructed from second growth American ash, the handle exhibits a straight grain throughout its length and is air dried for enhanced durability. Ash is chosen for its lightweight properties and long grains, providing excellent resiliency against tearing before breaking. The pike hooks are crafted from a single piece of high carbon steel, drop forged for strength, with shanks that are threaded for secure attachment to the handle after seamless, notched steel ferrules are applied. The pike points feature twisted threads that prevent removal unless turned halfway after being seated. Available hook styles include straight pike and hook, curved pike and hook, and straight pike only, with the latter two options available by special order. Ash pike poles can be ordered in lengths ranging from 6 to 16 feet, typically in two-foot increments. This product is made in the U.S.A.
