The CM® Pike Pole 10020 features a 1-1/2" diameter ash handle that measures 12 feet in length, designed with a straight pike and hook. The handle is constructed from second growth American ash, known for its straight grain and air-dried properties, providing a lightweight option that is resilient to tearing before breaking. The pike hooks are made from a single piece of high carbon steel, drop forged for durability, with shanks threaded to allow connection to the handle after seamless, notched steel ferrules are driven on. The pike points are constructed with twisted threads that resist removal unless half turned after being properly seated. Available in three styles, the hooks can be straight, curved, or straight pike only, with curved pike and hook and straight pike only available on special order. The ash pike poles range in lengths from 6 to 16 feet, typically in two-foot increments, and are primarily used for handling timber in water.
