The CM® Pike Pole 10002 is designed with a 1-1/2" x 8' anodized aluminum handle in blue, featuring a specially extruded design with an outer diameter of 1-1/2" and a wall diameter of 0.065 inches. The aluminum alloy is treated with a protective anodized finish, ensuring increased durability in corrosive or wet environments. This lightweight construction is significantly more manageable than equivalent lengths made from ash, and the aluminum handles resist warping and breaking, providing rugged durability for continued use. Each end features hardwood fittings secured by machine crimping, and the exclusive Dixie Industries Core Lok rubber seal creates a watertight barrier, allowing the pike pole to remain buoyant even with extensive use in water. The pike hooks are manufactured from high carbon steel and drop forged into a single piece, with threaded shanks for secure attachment to the handle. The pike points feature twisted threads that resist removal unless half turned after seating. Customers can choose from three styles of pike hooks: straight pike and hook, curved pike and hook, and straight pike only, with the latter two options available on a special order basis. The product is made in the U.S.A.
