The CM® Pike Pole 10072 features a 1-1/2" x 24' anodized aluminum handle in blue, designed for durability and performance in demanding environments. This pike pole includes a specially extruded anodized aluminum handle with an outer diameter of 1-1/2" and a wall thickness of 0.065 inches, which provides a protective finish that significantly enhances longevity compared to non-anodized aluminum, particularly in corrosive or wet conditions. The aluminum construction ensures that the pole is lighter than equivalent lengths made from ash, while the rugged design prevents warping or breaking, maintaining its straight form even with prolonged use. Each end of the pole is fitted with hardwood components that are securely attached through machine crimping. The exclusive Core Lok rubber seal from Dixie Industries guarantees a watertight barrier, ensuring that the pike pole remains buoyant during extensive use in and around water. The pike hooks are crafted from a single piece of high carbon steel and drop forged for strength, with shanks designed to screw into the handle. The pike points are equipped with twisted threads to resist removal unless half-turned after being seated. Pike hooks are available in three styles: straight pike and hook, curved pike and hook, and straight pike only, with the latter two options available via special order.
