The CM® Pike Pole 10000 features a 1-1/2" x 8' ash handle designed for optimal performance in handling timber in water. The pole includes a turned handle with a diameter that tapers to a knob at the end, made from second growth American ash with a straight grain throughout the entire length and air dried for enhanced durability. This lightweight ash provides resiliency, allowing the pole to withstand tearing before breaking. The pike hooks are crafted from a single piece of high carbon steel and drop forged, with shanks that are threaded to enable secure attachment to the handle after the seamless, notched steel ferrules are driven on. The pike points feature twisted threads that resist removal unless turned halfway after being seated. Pike hooks are available in three styles: straight pike and hook, curved pike and hook, and straight pike only, with the latter two available on a special order basis. Ash Pike poles are offered in lengths ranging from 6 to 16 feet, typically in two-foot increments. This product is made in the U.S.A.
