SMT stainless steel deep groove ball bearings feature uninterrupted raceway shoulders, making them capable of supporting radial, axial, or combined loads at higher speeds. Constructed for corrosion resistance, these bearings are comprised of SUS 440C for the outer and inner rings and balls, SUS 304 for the cages and shields, and nitrile rubber (NBR) for the seals. Commonly utilized in food processing machinery, cleaning equipment, and other applications subjected to high temperatures and humid environments, SMT stainless steel bearings are available with special order options including SUS 304 stainless steel bearings for increased corrosion and heat resistance in non-magnetic applications, SUS 630 stainless steel bearings for superior corrosion resistance and higher loading capabilities, grease-free bearings for circumstances where lubrication is prohibited, and ceramic bearings for extremely corrosive, non-magnetic, and no-lubricant applications.
