Smt deep groove ball bearings feature uninterrupted raceway shoulders and are designed to support radial, axial, or combined loads at higher speeds, making them the most widely used type of bearings due to their capabilities and competitive pricing. Constructed from AISI 52100 bearing steel or other steels optimized for special environments, Smt bearings find application in a range of industries, including electric motors, appliances, fans, pumps, machine tools, agriculture, clutches, conveyors, food processing, textiles, and packaging machinery. Available by special order, Smt offers several specialized bearings: SUS 440C stainless steel bearings provide corrosion resistance; SUS 304 stainless steel bearings offer corrosion and heat resistance along with nonmagnetic properties unsuitable for SUS 440C; SUS 630 stainless steel bearings deliver superior corrosion resistance and higher loading capabilities compared to SUS 440C and SUS 304; grease-free bearings are designed for applications where lubricant cannot be tolerated; and ceramic bearings are suited for extremely corrosive, nonmagnetic environments requiring no lubricant.
