SMT stainless steel deep groove ball bearings are designed with uninterrupted raceway shoulders and can support radial, axial, or combined loads at higher speeds. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, these bearings are frequently utilized in food processing machinery, cleaning equipment, and other applications in higher temperature and humid environments. The components include outer and inner rings and balls made of SUS 440C, cages made of SUS 304, shields also made of SUS 304, and seals made of nitrile rubber (NBR). Available by special order, the following environment-specific bearings can be obtained: SUS 304 stainless steel bearings for corrosion and heat resistance in non-magnetic applications, SUS 630 stainless steel bearings that offer superior corrosion resistance and higher loading capability than SUS 440C and SUS 304, grease-free bearings for applications that cannot accommodate lubricants, and ceramic bearings suitable for extremely corrosive, non-magnetic, and no-lubricant environments.
